Another outtake from 'CE,' and the first song I recorded on the aforementioned 16-track recorder. Contrary to popular belief, this song was not written for the Tom Hanks movie 'That Thing You Do', but was merely inspired by it. I wrote this song the day after seeing the film in an attempt to capture the vibe of the great tune that was used in the movie. Zane Drake played the nifty guitar solo and other guitar parts, and may have also contributed to the hand claps. Greg Schroeder added the drum track later on.
